Anandabazar Patrika

''Anandabazar Patrika'' ((ベンガル語:আনন্দবাজার পত্রিকা), (:anɔnd̪ɔbadʒar Pɔt̪rika)) is an Indian Bengali language daily newspaper published in Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai by the ABP Group. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, it has a circulation of 1.16 million copies as of December 2013.〔〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Anandabazar Patrika: History and Status )〕 According to the Indian Readership Survey 2012, it is the only major Bengali newspaper in India and has an average issue readership of 5.8 million.
Presently, the newspaper is edited by Aveek Sarkar.
==History==
The paper was founded in 1922 by its inaugural editor Prafulla Kumar Sarkar and the founder proprietor, Suresh Chandra Majumdar. It was first printed on 13 March 1922 and was against British rule.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Ananda Bazar Patrika Uniqueness: red ink printing )
